I’m sure it’s neurotic, but I do worry about “realism” in the strip. It’s why I took the completely unnecessary step of giving all the characters last
names. Anyway, I figured that Rorik would have to get a full-time job to help support
Dill and himself in a bad economy, and also for his own self-respect. It turned out to be a comedy goldmine, and it gave me a great new character to
play with: Paco.
